As a Tim Horton’s Franchisee, we’re required to perform a rather extensive renovation to our restaurants every 10 years from the extensive wear and tear it is exposed to. Our busiest location – which is located in the concourse level of Scotia Plaza, had undergone this renovation in the summer of 2010 and unfortunately it wasn’t completed to a satisfactory level. Instead of going back to the company that was contracted out by head office, we decided to look elsewhere. We came across Peter from A-Z Contracting and were quite impressed with the experience him and his team had with renovations. Not only did he rectify many of the deficiencies we were left with, but Peter and his team were also able to upgrade aspects of the restaurant that were initially left untouched, due to its inability to be changed – or so we were told. I was so impressed with the work that was done, I had Peter and his team renovate a spare bedroom of mine at my Markham residence, and am currently in talks of some similar work to be carried out at my guest house in Caledon. The work crews are always on time, polite and respectful of people’s homes. You could go for a cheaper quote from another contractor, but remember that “You get what you pay for”.
